How old do kids need to be to rent any type of water craft?

16 years old with a valid drivers license or with a parent consent. 

 
 

Do we need to make a reservation?

Reservations are not required for rentals, though we highly recommend them to ensure availability. During the summer and fall we aren’t necessarily open every day but can arrange reservations. The busier we are, the longer ahead of time you should book. In some cases we can deliver with short notice, but often times we need several hours or more notice, depending on our existing delivery schedule.

 
 

What if your online booking shows no availability?

Please call us at (712) 830-5115 for assistance. We may have rentals available that we can book for you. You can also make reservations by phone with a credit card.

Do you provide helmets or life jackets?

We do have helmets and life jackets available at no charge. You are welcomed to bring your own if you have them.

 

What should we bring?

Suggestion are sunblock and a beverage if you would like. You may also bring your phone or camera to take pictures and video of your experience. We are not responsible for any damages to your personal items. You can rent or purchase dry bags for your phone or belongs for your convenience. Again we do not guarantee these bags in anyway to protect your belongings. You are bringing your cell phone, camera or video items at your own risk.

 
 

Do I need to bring the rental back right away?

A $10.00 late charge and hourly rate will be added to every hour the unit is not return on time.

What if the weather turns bad?

All units must be returned ASAP in the event of high winds or threatening weather. You will receive a rain check for the time you have left. 

 

What is your cancelation policy?

We have a 72 hour cancellation policy for rentals. This means that you can cancel a reservation with more than 72 hours notice without penalty. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice will be charged 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours notice will be charged the full amount of the rental fee. The only exception to this policy is if we have to cancel due to weather. Weather cancellations are at the sole discretion of BHRR.

 

What if something breaks when I have it rented?

In the rental agreement you agree to that all equipment was in good working order at time of renting unit(s) from BHRR. If you have any type of normal wear and tear mechanical failure please call us asap. If the damage is upon your use you have agreed to in the rental agreement to pay all damages and loss of equipment that occurs during the time I you renting any units from BHRR.
